Oil pan replacement
Does anyone know how hard it is to do an oil pan replacement?
Is there an actual gasket? Im under the impression that you have to use a gasket sealer?
Do You have to lift the engine out to get it out? Or will it just slide out?
Looking for a good place to start. There is about 20 bolts to get it off.
I cracked mine doing an oil change because the bolt was seized and got another one from the wreckers.
Any suggestions?
Thanks ahead of time.

No gasket. It is a chemical seal (RTV).
Engine will need to come quite high to clear the cradle, and the front of the trans. Or, drop the cradle.
On the earlier cars we simply dropped the cradle, allowing it to pivot on the front round bushes, BUT, these have the round bushes at the rear of the cradle, as in reversed to the earlier cars.
I have not done one of these, so am not 100% updated. Someone will cruise along soon, who has done it, and give the best advice.
