Default An oily quickie

In the UK Eurocarparts have an offer on oil.

Is this Castrol GTX 10W-40 OK for an X300 3.2? 15 quid for 4 litres seems OK.

I know oil is contentious but I'm just asking is it OK.

Thanks

Mike

I use 10/40 in mine. All's well.

Castrol GTX is a favorite with many Jag owners....perhaps for sentimental reasons as much as anything else. "Castrol" and "Jaguar" just seem to go together.

Anyhow, yes, I think you'll be fine with your choice

Cheers

Yup, it's a good one mate, go for it! I've put Magnatec in mine, 10w/40 as well, it's rather optimal choice for our climate!
