Default Oxygen sensor replacement

So i have a check engine light on my 1996 xjr and i had it checked out to be the right downstream one. If i replace that one do i have to replace the other downstream one that is still working?

You only need to replace the one . Just make sure you don't unplug the other one in the process and mix them up. Use a white grease pen or the like to keep track if you do unplug the other.
