Default Paint Code sticker

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with completing the following data.

The paint code sticker under the bonnet on my X300 has virtually worn away. the MOT testing station treats this as the VIN plate and so failed my car because of this. I can get a replacement sticker made at a licensed office in Poland,But I don't know what the information in some of the boxes was.

I need to know what values go in the Boxes for weights.

I have a 97 XJ executive with the 4.0 Ltr engine.

Please see attached photo.

Here's a picture of my plate before I removed it as part of my rebuild.

The first number appears to be Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) from the handbook, but I can't relate the other numbers to anything in the book. Does anyone know what these represent?

Bear in mind that yours is likely to be different. My car is a Daimler 4.0 and is heavier than standard. Even heavier is the XJR and even heavier than that the 6.0.

You should be able to work out the colour code from the first letter you have and the rough colour and the year. Google "Jaguar Colour Codes" (or should that be color codes )

Ah, so B1mcp, your car had (or still has) Kingfisher Blue paint like mine. I love that color on a Jaguar.

Default New sticker

Update: I finally got in touch with a graphics company, who make reproduction stickers for classic Porsches etc.

They are based in Poland but speak great English, so don't worry!

The team was really helpful and helped make up a replacement paint code sticker for not a lot of money.

If you need something similar I recommend "office at car-bone.pl"
