Paint is done
Well I picked up the x300 yesterday noon. She looks fabulous. Almost like a new car. I'm very happy with the paint. Spoke to the painter and he said to wait three weeks before I apply a protective coat. I bought some liquid glass today and figured I would try it on my wife's car tomorrow. I have never used liquid glass before, but looks to be good stuff. Judging by the price the company is proud of it's product. I also bought some leather conditioner and did my seats today, as well as polishing the oxidation off my wheels with some mothers polish. I will get some pictures posted soon. I did notice one of my dash lights had come on which said "fuel" thought it might just be the trap door on the filler, but it was shut tight. Anyone have a clue what this light may indicate. It came on right next to the tripometer. Thanks----Scott
Caddy, I think I figured it out---by reading another thread--
It has something to do with the trip settings which tell you your fuel consumption, range, milage and all of that. So it is not a dreaded "idiot" light. At today's prices one does not want to "fill it up" more than necessary.
