hello all, i havent been on in a while but glad to be back. i have a 1996 xj6 and i have a small problem with the parking lights. the drivers side parking lights work just fine but the passenger side parking lights wont come on for anything. i checked the fuses and the all seem fine i didnt check the bulbs because i cant see how both front and rear could be out at the same time but then again.... anyway, is there something else im missing and how can i fix this, thanx.

 

check the bulbs first. its not uncommon for people to not realise 1 or maybe 2 are out and then notice and "THINK" they all went out at once. Hit the lights with your hand too. They're small peanut bulbs and not a great connection. Many times I hit them at work and 8 out of 10 come on

 

Thanx for the quick response. I'll do that today. The car has been sitting for a few months but still runs great at 230,000 miles. I can't seem to give her up. These cars are incredible.
