Default pictures or info of your X300 - wiring harness

Hello, I have a 97 X300 XJ6L. There are two 14 pin connectors that sit under the hood, behind the right passenger headlight, on the frame. One is Grey and the other is Black. The harness connectors connect the body harness (right front fender) to the engine harness. I need a picture showing the wires going into the back of each connector. OR!!!! You could simply tell me what wire goes to what. Every wire matches colors throughout the connectors EXCEPT the GREY wire and RED wire on the male connector side AND the BLUE/RED, ORANGE/WHITE and PINK/BLACK wires on the female side. I am willing to pay for the information or pictures through paypal. PLEASE HELP!!!

Angelo, as Jim says, payment neither expected nor accepted. If I understand, you want pictures of the wires going into the back-sides of both connectors? But do you want back of engine-side or back of body-side?

I have that cover off (anyone knowing a source/part# for the little clips that hold it on?) and should be able to snap them for you in the next hour or so.

Edit: Just noticed you are new. Welcome to the forum. You need to make an introduction and read the Welcome-new members sticky, and get your post-count up to 10 so a mod will grant you full-access. You may not be able to see the pictures otherwise. I don't recall what restrictions apply, but better to achieve full-status.

See if I captured what you need?

Can't hold out much hope for you if you need the front side of the two connectors mounted on the side of the frame rail. No good camera angle/space and connector bodies on these things tend to be quite brittle - I don't currently have any electrical problems apart from seat heaters inop and pos. pots bugger'd such that memory positions don't work so I'm not about to disturb or disconnect them - sorry, I just don't love you that much!

What you need is the wiring diagrams from the JDHT DVD for your model car.

Jaguar Heritage. XJ6 (X300) & XJ12 (X300) 1995 to 1997

Rear of the RH headlamp is showing as PI1 - 13-way ECONOSEAL III LC / WHITE and PI61 - 13 way ECONOSEAL III LC / BLACK.

PI1-1 should be WY / WY
PI1-2 should be GB / GB
PI1-3 should be NY / NY
PI1-4 should be WK / WK
PI1-5 should be WO / WO
PI1-6 should be NO / NO
PI1-7 should be RS / RS
PI1-8 should be OS / OS
PI1-9
PI1-10
PI1-11 should be KB / KB
PI1-12 should be RO / RO
PI1-13 should be UW / UW

PI61-1
PI61-2 should be WU / WU
PI61-3 should be R / R
PI61-4 should be WU / WU
PI61-5
PI61-6 should be S / S
PI61-7 should be KN / KN
PI61-8 should be KR / KR
PI61-9 should be UR / UR
PI61-10 should be NLG / NLG
PI61-11 should be BW / BW
PI61-12 should be WG / WG
PI61-13 should be NO / NO

The colours are N = Brown, B = Black, W = White, K = Pink, G = Green, R = Red, Y = Yellow, O = Orange, S = Slate, L = Light, U = Blue, P = Purple.

Unfortunately the intermediate connectors don't seem to have their pinouts listed separately, only the module connectors, so I've gleaned that lot by simply looking through each page of schematics. The blanks are pins I couldn't see referenced anywhere.

Hope that helps.
