I was wondering,is there a way to replace just the power mirror switch without having to replace the master control switch assembly? Mines suffering from a broken toggle making it difficult to adjust the mirror. Also,I've located some switches but not all seem to have the same memory features so if the p/mirror section can be swapped it would make things simpler.

 

Unfortunately that is the one piece you cannot remove from the base plate. I've just made one out of two units. Looks like that toggle is glued in first.

 

I have a spare that I've been meaning to put in my 96. Maybe I'll open it up again to see if it easy swap swap the mirror switch. Maybe it's just a matter of a little soldering time.
