Default power steering hose leaking on rack side

Gents. Top left and bottom left hose leaking through the fitting at rack end. Just pulled the line off, noticed there was no o ring or any such thing. Should there be something there or does the line just work without it? I have tightened the bugger up as tight as she will go but they still weep through the line between the brass fitting and the steel line.
Time for a new line, I guess, or am I missing an olive or o ring?
Thanks gents
Peter
oh yeah, s3 xj6 (1980)

Default Power steering hose leaking on rack side

Looks like it needs an "O" ring per Jaguar Service Technical Bulletin @ JagRepair.com

Jagbits just got back to me and verified no olive or o ring in flared end pipes for this model. Thanks folks.

Just confirming that. Its a 1980 xj6 part number CAC2484.
So it DOES need an o ring?

Thanks guys. I realised I probably stuffed you all up a bit. I was messing with both top left and bottom left and realise now they are quite different. So, the high pressure line (top) has an o ring and the low pressure one hasn't got one.
I bought a box of 420 imperial o rings from Aldi the other day. I guess it's fair to say something should fit it. Please don't tell me they are special o rings! LOL!

well, i really made a mess of it. bought high and low pressure hoses. low pressure worked ok. hi pressure was us version. about 1 foot too long and fittings didnt match pump. my pump end has originally a flared ending but what i got had an o ring and was quite different. anyway, i lucked out as i had another jag pump at home which fitted. changed it all over, discovered hose was way too long, and worst scenario, it still leaked through the new line at rack end. so either the new hose i bought is faulty or i should just push this thing over a cliff...
