my 96 xj12 has the premium audio package with a trunk/boot cd changer.
Sometimes the dash head unit can't find it, other times it plays, still other times I go over a bump and cd music starts playing, or stops.
Wondering if this is a loose ground issue or a common wiring problem elsewhere?
I'm about to fix the clock etc so would like to figure out where the issue might be?

 

The trunk mounted power amplifier has a thermofuse that may or may not reset itself but if over a bump the brown color I think 8 pin DIN cable from the stereo head , through the upper side of center consol can pinch in the path from reading others
