hey i just got a 2003 x type jaguar and the stereo has a cassette player on it but there is a button on it that says "CD". does that mean the car has a cd player? because it doesnt seem like it does.

 

The head unit may well be able to accept a CD player but the option might not have been taken by the original owner.

The CD stacker if you have one would like as not be in the trunk.

Even if it is not present, the wiring will be there behind the trim.

So you may be able to obtain one that corresponds to your head unit and retro fit it.

That's the extent of my audio knowledge.
