Hi, the radio in my X300 XJ is completely dead. I have the chance to pick up a radio from an XK8 pretty cheap. I haven't seen it yet so am not sure if it's the same size unit. Does anybody know if it will slot straight in or no chance?

 

I believe there are 2 models for the XK8. When it's from a car under the year 97/98 I believe it will work. When its a radio from a higher year they have different radios, same as the XJ8

 

I have radio and c/d out of mine that is stripped for parts if you need let me know 1995 4.0 sport

 

I actually replaced my radio with an aftermarket and used a facia kit from the UK that looks great. It even comes with the wiring harness. Jaguar XJ6 CD Radio Fascia Surround Trim Wiring Kit | eBay
