Replacement headlamp bulbs

Replacement headlamp bulbs
I would like to upgrade the headlamp bulbs in my XJR6 to brighter lighting at both dipped and main beam. There are lots on the market but I wondered anyone had had particularly good results with their X300? I'm thinking about brands like Osram, Phillips, Ring.... Other ideas are welcomed!

I tried the phillips "huge percentage brighter" bulbs in my dipped beam. Put one in and switched the lights on to test it was working. Couldn't tell the difference from the other (old) bulb ,looking at the front of the car!
From the drivers seat, I could possibly be persuaded that the light is a bit whiter, but all in all, rather underwhelming, particularly as they were more than twice the price of "ordinary" bulbs.
