Seat Heater possible issues
Everyone who gets in my car and turns on the seat heater says they don't seem to work. Front or rear. I'm just thinking its because there not ventilated seats like on my Ford Fusion. The red light goes on when u hit the buttons. So it's not a short or anything...I really can't tell their even on when I use them. I just think its just the way they are. How do your heaters work?

My experience (XJS and X300) is that the Jag seat heaters, at least back in the day, just don't get as hot as most others. "Warmers" might be a better word than "heaters".
Also, on the X300s at least, there's a thermostat that disables them above x-y-z temperature. Can't remember exactly what the on/off setting is....but if it's already a warm day they might not turn on.....even though the light says they're on.
On both cars the elements eventually failed and I replaced them with aftermarkets....much hotter.
Cheers
