does anyone know how to program a new security module in 96 xj6?

 

yes i'm a new one and i want to program the security module thats hidden in the trunk below fuel cap the reason i want to do it is that it looks like my immobiliser is frozen , central door locking doas not work i acant start the engine , key fob doas not work either and one of the reading lights is gone (middle one ) , its not th firrst time it happened but before taking the negative leash of the battary for few minutes did the job but now nothing works , i ve checked the fuses , battery , desconnected the security module for few minutes and still nothing and thats why i want to replace it

 

I think I have the same problem: car was working fine, then I laid it up for a few months and the car battery died. Replaced battery and all interior electrics working: reading lights, radio, wipers, heater etc, but when I turn the key in the ignition there is just absolutely nothing happening, it's not even attempting to turn the engine over, so I suspect I am electronically immobilised. How to solve?
