Springs on X300....
hi everyone, I was told by a local tire/alignment shop that my suspension was lower on the pass side than the driver side. Is this coil spring related?? Do I maybe need new springs loaded on the car?? I know that the car was involved in a accident about 7 years ago or so, and the alignment could never be straight no matter where I go..... Maybe changing out to newer lowering springs would fix this issue?? anyone... thanks
Sometimes springs sag, yes.
In your case, though, I wonder if something isn't bent/damaged due to the accident? If so, new springs won't help. If your alignment shop can't isolate the problem then ask a body shop to put the car on the "frame machine" to check and measure all the critical dimensions. You'll probably have to pay at least 2-3 hours labor for this, though.
Cheers
