I am getting the feeling that these are very good cars or they did not make many of them. I'm seeing more XJ8's than the x300's. People must be keeping them. I'm going to look at a black '96 Vanden Plas tommarrow I hope. I live in S Indiana and have been looking on Craigs list across the greater midwest. Looking like a ghost town on theses x300's.

 

get out of your local area, preferrably in the south without salted roads.

I went thru 30 candidates before buying my first Jag...years and years ago. More recently I scoured ads/internet doggedly for about 6 months before finding the right XJR.

The right car will come along. Just be ready to jump on it when it does. You're not the only one looking :-)
