Default Stripped VC Bolts

Got my new valve cover painted and ready to go on but when I went to pull the old one off I found that a couple bolts under the spark plug cover are stripped. How can I get these off?

BUGGA.

I am assuming the small bolts that hold the coils down are the culprits ??????.

CAREFULLY applying a lifting tention (grab it with your hand and PULL gently) to the coil whilst rotating that bolt "should" have it come out. BRUTE force here will snap the coil, so please be careful.

OR, remove the cover with the suspect coils intact, and then push from the underside whilst rotating the problem bolt, and all should be sweet.

It is do-able, just take your time.

I finally got them off yesterday after like an hour and a half time spent on 2 bolts. Heres the finished product.

I used the dupli-color high heat rated for 500 degrees for the primer, color, and clear coat

If you soak the outside in aircraft coating remover the original paint will bubble off. You can get it at advance auto parts or maybe autozone
