Default TC Actuator Repair

I remember where someone was able to fix their actuator white plastic piece, but I cannot find the post. I am pretty sure it was recent. I'm just trying to remember how they did it and what type of plastic they used. Luckily, I had an extra one, but I would like to repair the one that I was using as an armrest as I was pulling the heat shield. I don't want to try the JB weld method until I give this a shot.

I recall it also , maybe using an external metal tube / sleeve and filling it with filler ?

Saw the pic and it looks like a Devcon brand of plastic weld

As to which specific version ( ? )

I remember it well as used on Lockheed L - 1011 interiors repairs in that work group, and smells terrible , it is just terrible smell

The end result does not look too bad if it holds, if you do a cosmetic wrap to make it look better and the repair does not hold then you have to remove wrap to get back to starting over

The process he used was to melt tie wrap material , this would not get down into crack seam
