Driving along a two lane highway, being courteous, and let a badly modified, rusting and lifted RAM pull in front of me. Of course, not five minutes later, he does this to me.
So after 30 years, it's time for my sleek jungle cat to get herself a new windscreen. And of course, it's a heated windscreen that buddy boy had to destroy. Lovely.
Anyway, that was my day...kinda put a damper on it.
Any recommendations from the friends here? For context, 1996 Vanden Plas
Contact a place like SafeLite or another place that this is all they do (not sure what they have in Canada). They can often correct this problem without replacing the windshield. I don't personally know how or in what circumstance they can do it, but I have heard of others having it done. Here is a video roughly how it is done. Note, this is not a fully disappeared repair, but it does stop it from getting worse basically forever. If you want to pay the big bucks for the looks, then I guess this wouldn't be the type of repair for you.
