Default Tips or Tricks for replacing Pendulum Bushes?

Well I think I found the reason for a recent driveline vibration problem. It appears that the culprit may be a worn out upper pendulum bush. The rubber in the bush is completely shot and has caused the pendulum to angle slightly.

It looks like I will have to drop the rear end but if anyone knows an easier way, I'm all ears

Here's a pic of the offending part.
