I know this is an old link but I was looking at replacing my traction control unit but can't find out how. It looks pretty simple to actually remove but the cable that goes from the unit back to the peddle......can't figure out how to remove it. Anyone have a link to removing the whole system

Disconnect the two electrical plugs. Remove the thin black plastic cover, by prising back the flap which has "pimple" that locates in a hole. This will expose the "drum". Screw together the two halves of the cable adjuster (star shaped in cross section) to create more slack in the cable, noting how many turns they are screwed together. Rotate the drum to create slack in the cable. Release the "nipple from the end of the cable from its recess in the drum.
