My 1996 VDP started running rough and threw the 0301 code. I changed the cylinder 1 coil along with all of the plugs to Champion RC12YC (which I've used with no problem in the past). All was well. A few days later the engine stalled while at idle and the CEL and the trans lights came on. The fault code was 1775. I reset the code. Then on two separate days the engine stalled at idle and restarted immediately. Today the 0727 code came up. That is a new one to me.

All it means is that your engine stalled while moving.

Engine stalled at a road speed above
10 mph (16 km/h)
ECM to TCM engine speed signal circuit open
circuit or short circuit to ground
ECM engine speed signal error (TCM failure)
