turn signal problems
i bought a '98 VDP and I've started to experience problems with my turn signals when i turn the lights on they don't come as they should and and when turning lanes i noticed that the right signal light doesn't work but its only the one in the front, the others work fine, ive replaced the bulb and still doesn't work, also the right hand fog light has stopped working, not sure if its related to the other problem, wondering if anyone has had this problem, could it be a relay, i have checked all the fuses. this is a big problem bc i won't pass inspection.

RE: turn signal problems
sounds like a loose wire or wiring connector on the right side of the car, or, if the left and right sides are fused separately, it could be something as simple as a blown fuse.but if fuses are fine, check the wiring (visually) from the rear of each lamp, following it and checking all connectors and connections. I doubt its a Relay because Fog Lamps will shareone Relay, so if one is not coming on and the other one does, it's not the Relay. If you checked the fog lamp bulb and itlooks good, try inverting it with the working lamp's bulb to confirm, then it's obviously a loose wire.

The connector blocks for much of the front lights/indicators are located up under the front wing/fender, near the corner, just in front of the front wheels. You can get at them without jacking up or removing wheels.
Check that they are clean and tight, as they are subject to dirt and moisture from the road.
