While browsing my local salvage yard, I came across this 95 or 96 XJR in decent shape. I plan to retrofit the seats into my '84 XJ6, but was wondering if anything else is worth saving to resell? It's mostly complete.
The XJR as almost complete is worth to someone being located in western New York state ?
Milage on car ? may be in the salvage yard paperwork otherwise would have to power up the dash as the milage is stored but hidden not powered
The X40 square chassis / body is different than the roundish X300 so the interior attach rails would expect to be different along with modifying the wiring to run the seats
The X300 seats are totally electric and no mechanical levers
There is a Jaguar VIN # breakdown with 10th digit being the year ( S or T )

Nice find there, full black interior on an X300 is pretty rare. Dark wood trims are valuable if in good shape.
The wheels are hard to find and fit all the other Jags of the era. A nice upgrade at 17x8.
The oil cooler (visible) is very rare and valuable (fits the X305 XJ12 models too). There is a removal tool for the hose fittings to release from the cooler. Or you can cut the hoses but that is not so easy because of the wire reinforcement.
The ECU and TCU are specific to the XJR and also valuable.

Estimated value of wheels? Tires are junk and wheels will need a refinish as they have peeling clearcoat but overall aren't bad.
Unfortunately the ECU was already gone, but I did grab the MAF. The seats will be going into my 1984 S3.
