warning light on xj6 1995

I bought my xj6 about 16 wks ago and its has recentley just been ready for the road as i had to get a lot of panel damaged repaired and resprayed.Since driving the car the first warning symbol on the left hand side has started to come on the symbol is square with a dotted line.I have just joined forum i do not yet have the manual for car any help much appreciated. thanks in advance jon.............

I pulled out a Driver's Handbook to look, the only square symbol I see on the left is the icon for the windshield washer reservoir and the light will come on if the windscreen washer fuild level is low (or the sensor is faulty). Send me a message if you want to buy books for your car, I have the full set.
