What is XJ6R version of the x300?

Default What is XJ6R version of the x300?

A Car described simply as an X300 that I'm thinking of buying has a mesh grille, which I now understand means it is an R version. Sports? Can anyone explain any other differences.

You'll have to check under the bonnet for sure, but in short, the XJR has a supercharged engine, modified suspension, and usually 17" wheels.

Mesh grille may mean nothing more than that a previous owner preferred the mesh and installed one.

As noted above, the primary difference between a non-XJR and XJR X300 is the supercharged engine. That's the easiest and most obvious difference that can be verified by simply opening the hood
