I just rebuilt my wiper motor after it was working very slowly. The rebuilt came out nice. The nut that holds the linkage to the chassis did not want to come off easily and it is useless at this point. I was wondering where I can find one. To be clear, there is a small nut that holds down the wiper blade in place. I need the nut just under that one.
Thanks!

Size is M10 according to JEPC. Unusually helpful for Jaguar - they usually just show a part number!

Graham,
I was in a rush when I first read your post. Having read it again just now I have to say that no way is that nut just 10 mm. It looks more like 18mm. Also, does anyone know the thread size?

M10 is a thread size. M18 is about the same diameter as an upper wishbone fulcrum bolt!

I was told at home depot that M10 represents the diameter of the nut and that the thread size that I need is probably 0.8
Now I am confused.
The nut that I need is not the one that holds down the wiper arm to the motor linkage but rather the nut just below that one. It holds the linkage to the car frame. The nut requires a 19mm socket to install.
