wiper motor compatibility

Do the mid 80's XJS' use the same wiper motor as the XJ6's? I found one in a junk yard but don't want to waste my time pulling it if I can't use it. Thx.

Thanks. That saves some effort.
BTW...do XJ6's have a AAV and if so it is the same as the one used on XJS's.

Mid 80's wipers were a complex cable drive system.
Try to retrofit a newer system.
