I just swapped out the wiper motor on my 94 4.0 coupe. I removed the old one from the frame and fitted the new one to the frame and installed it.

The wiper arms now try to go the wrong way when switched on. Clearly there must be some sort of alignment between the motor in park mode to the orientation of the linkage mechanism. I see the motor is listed as the motor and frame together.

Anyone successfully sorted this alignment out? Suggestions welcome!

The old wiper motor was making a loud 'clack' when intially switched on, but still functioned correctly.
