Default Wiper Stalk Plugs

So I was throwing the parts cannon at my X300 today and installing a replacement wiper stalk/speaker.

As I tore things apart I see that the green plug on the harness is run into nothing and I can't find the other end.

Would this be the culprit for my wipers not returning to park and my "bing bong" not occurring when I turn the car on?

I plugged in the replacement stalk I have(only the black and blue plugs) and it was acting just the same as the old one.

The attached picture is of the plug.

There was an extra plug on mine and a extra optional equipment that it may go to that I can't remember.

Your no park since you have inspected the wire connections at the stalk you may be at the point of looking at the park switch inside the wiper motor gear box

there should be a way to read the switch without digging it out

If replacing it has a specific " throw " that it has to be on the depression of the switch red button

You can put a 9 volt battery on the speaker and hear it pop and crackle.as it is being tickled

there is a kind of round plate with about 4 screws on the gearbox so you can see the tiny micro switch

this is immediately aft of the electric motor
