Hello,

Do you know where to buy reseal/rebuild clutch master cylinders for a 96 3.2 x300 manual?

Or a interchageable part? I just found out that a xj40 part will fit but needs some other parts relocating. http://www.xj40.com/viewtopic.php?f=...95712&start=10

Has any of you guys been throught this or compared older parts with the x300 ones to check differences.

Thanks

87-91 Toyota Supra Turbo used the same transmission. Maybe they used the same
master cylinder.

Toyota is usually much better at offering rebuild parts as opposed to "assemblies".

Paulo,
The master clutch cylinder is part nr. CCC6760 which, according to the Jaguar Heritage, is used on the XJ40, both 6 cyl and V12, and the X300.
The fact that Naki (from the XJ40 forum) is having a problem with part numbers is not a good sign. Naki is very knowledgeable on XJ40 and X300.
Would it be an idea to ask him how he ended up by solving it? He is a very helpful person.

Toyota had an internal name for it. The above models all used that transmission
if equipped with the 5 speed manual.
