Thanks pics are great and very helpful thank you! If you have a phone with a video cam in it, those work pretty good too. I'm supposed to be getting my car in a few days and I'd love to document repairs and post them too. More than likely when the weather lets up or when something is needed to be done right there and then. I think it could be good to show how to provide basic care and so forth and if it's something I learned from here, I'd give credit to whomever posted it and of course mention the forum too...

I have taken some pics of various fixes and even that can be awkward, what with greasy hands while lying on your back under the car. To make any sort of decent video would be problematic and quite time consuming. Ideally you'd need a second person to operate the camera, preferably someone who has some understanding of what you're doing and what you're trying to convey.

Like, how do you show on video the process for removing the roof liner, while recording same?

Like I said, you could easily double the time normally taken to complete whatever task you're at.

It's do- able but not without it's problems.

I know what you mean! Pics are always cool! The sad thing about the vids on YouTube are, someone seems to be trying to sell them at an expensive price! LOL! I'll check out your tutorials!
