X300 running problems
Hi hope someone can help. My x300 1996 3.2 sport is misbehaving as in mornings it's misfiring and when it's up to temp it's still a bit sluggish have changed one coil pack and the manifold air temp sensor. And yesterday I was coming home and it started ok but when it got to normal temp and sitting at steady speed it started juddering. ease off the throttle and it when away but back on did the same. put foot hard down and it went again but half power.
Thanks
Hope someone can give info to what to check for

It sure does sound like you have one or more coils doing their job under engine load. When you add throttle you increase cylinder pressure. If a coil is weak a plug will just stop firing under high cylinder pressure. And yet it might fire fine at idle which is the lowest cylinder pressure you will have. Checking the coils in the dark may not reveal a coil that is just weak as it will still be working, just not strong enough. Check the coils in the dark and look for the fireworks in the top of the coil that is bad.
