Very interesting, the the sovereign LWB is quite a rare beast
I was at Browns Lane last week collating data for the Mk10 \420G the home and export figures, I was given the privelage of handling and going through the old documents which dated back to the '30s
The cheif archvist is a very helpful chap and the museum there is excellent.
I have to attend one more time to complete my research I will post some pics from the museum if you would like to see them ...

Mine is a 1993 build XJ12. First registered in Australia in early 1994.
That is amusing because according to the chart there was only one made in 1993.
My vin letter refers to 'Sovereign' on one chart and 'Sovereign/XJ12" on another chart but I haven't been able to find a spec showing the difference between the Sovereign V12 and the XJ12. I had a 1988 Sovereign in the same colour (solent blue) but that had the 5.3.

I suspect you have the XJ40-type body style, right? The chart, though, refers to the "X300" cars. I reckon any "X300" cars built calendar year 1993 were pre-production models, with full production commencing sometime in 1994.
