When I go to turn my car either left or right I feel like a grinding feeling, and I also hear like a whining, its really only when I am turning, not when going straight, is it maybe a belt, does anyone know, please let em knoe, thanks.

 

More than likely it's either the pump or the rack.

 

Also check the power steering fluid level. My car has a very slow leak, and I have to top off the fluid about twice a year and that fixes the"noise" you are describing.

Might be the same with yours. If you're lucky, that's all it may be.

 

if yuou do have a slow leak how can you fix it? because i had my power steering fluid filled up a month ago and not its abotu a quarter way down, but i dotn see it leaking anywhere

 

It's probably running to another spot and then dripping. They can be tough to find.
