I'm thinking that it is time to have my fuel injectors cleaning on my 95 XJ6 with 110,000 miles on the clock. I would like information as to what is involved and if there is more than one method, which is the best one. I think having it done in speciality shop is the best idea since I'm sure special equipment is involved.
Thanks in advance.

Buy 3 bottles of Techron Injector cleaner at your favorite auto parts store. When your gas tank is about 1/4 full, put 2 bottles in the tank. Drive until the gauge shows about 1/8 full. Put another Techron bottle in, fill the gas tank up and you're good for another 50K. You can repeat this process as many time as you want. I did my 95VDP (252K miles on the clock) like this every 3 months.

IMHO...
The best method is to remove the injectors for professional cleaning. This way the flow and pattern can also be checked.
Next is a professional on-the-car cleaning at a shop with specialized equipment (such as a "Motor Vac"). Cleaning agents are introduced into the fuel rail to clean the injectors.
Add-to-your-fuel cleaners will work if the injectors are not too dirty and/or your willing to keep repeating the process and wait for results.
Cheers

Before you add an excessive amount of conditioner to the fuel read the can for instructions. In some cases you can do more harm than good when adding the treatment in excess. I use BG 44K it is the best I found and I use it 1 to 2 times a year.

I have seen Seafoam but never used it. I would venture to say it has restrictions like any other product. I used Techron and it works but my seat of the pants results seem better with BG 44K
