XJ6R WOT Bog
Well I fingured I'd start simple with the car. After tradding my MGB roadster for a paint job on the house to get THAT neverending rebuild closer to done, I decided to not be an idiot and keep the XJR. To start out with the simplist jobs, I went in to clean the MAF sensor and found that the accordian elbow between the MAF and the SC intake was loose and one edge, not visible from above, was sucked inside the connection allowing lots of unmetered air into the mix. Buttoned it back up and Viola! Punch it and it leaps like a leaper should. Got to say too that the Transgo HD2 shift kit is really well worth the install. BTW with the wires and the plate inside all that plastic, how do you clean the MAF sensor on the SC models? Guess my LTFT will be normal now, win-win.
