Coil failures are common. That would be my first guess.

Sometimes you can remove the coil and actually see burned areas. But, even if there is no burned area, the coil can be faulty.

Just had a similar issue....

Replacement coilpacks are quite dear shop around to get a keen price if you need one.

Welcome to the forum as well
