Someone found a pin bent in the OBD 2 connector
There ia a fuse that powers the OBD 2 connector which powers your device
See page 143
X300 01/E COVER (jagrepair.com)
# 4 / 5 amp LH heelboard fuse box point 12 square page 41
This fuse is hot at all time and directly wired to the battery cable
also # 10 / 5 amp RH heelboard fuse box at point 17 circle double hash page 45
The wiring guide is incomplete at this point but fuse # 10 should be dependent on the king relay for that fuse box to close , but..........
The first 9 fuses in the box are hot at all time and fuse 10 ,. 12 , 14 , 16 depend on the relay
The relay should be closed with the key in the run position and by removing the relay it should click back open
The relay is called the ignition positive relay back over on the LH heelboard fuse box according to the print on page 39
And this is where it is too complex a concept for me to effectively deal with , the wiring guide is bigger then me
Help
These king relays are probable related to your limp mode on the engine
