Just got the car I have been driving it around pretty steady but today I noticed in park and neutral the car makes a hiccup sound about every ten seconds from what sounds like the transmission when I put my head to the ground. It sounds like it is trying to pump something maybe? Any ideas?

The previous owner just had two fuel pumps installed I do not know if there is any correlation.

Also last night I pulled out of the gas station and the car felt like it was stuck in 1st, it finally shifted at 4k and it was a very hard shift, kinda scary. This problem cannot be replicated but the hiccuping can. I will try to post a video later.

 

Heres a link to the video. My girlfriend described it pretty well as a camera shutter sound. occurs at 3, 8, and 20 seconds. Sorry about bad video but sound is whats important here.
