1998 Engine Swap!!!
can someone help me, i have a 1998 xj vanden plas i blew my motor, a friend gave me his 2000 xj8 motor cause his wife totalled it in the rear, but my harness doesn't hook up right, & the cam advance locations are different, has anyone done this swap??? thanks for your help, kirk

You have a AJ26 engine in the '98, and the '00 is a AJ27. You can use the AJ27 engine block easily, but you need to swap/reuse parts of the AJ26 which can be found in the link.
