Default 1998 Supercharged XJR Potential Mods

Hello, I’m mostly just sorta curious not planning on doing much yet, but I was wondering what mods you could do to the 1998 XJR with the supercharged v8 to reduce the 0-60 time. Thanks for any answers you can provide!

Luke

Avos twin screw kit
Shorter ratio 15HU LSD out of an x300, also to help avoid blowing up the stock 14hu

LS swap with a manual?

Those are really the best options if you want to make a meaningful improvement

I’m not trying to be pessimistic but realistic with you. Assuming your engine is original to the car and the heads have never been off, the next mod to do to the engine is a fresh valve job and new mls head gaskets. Until that happens, don’t mod the car as milkshake is in your future even in stock form. The stock fiber head gaskets were weak.

Let me say a few things but please understand nothing means to offen anyone.

If you are after the 0-60 time. This SC 308 is not for you and it's not even a good platform for that.

All performance upgrades are very expensive and require tones mechanical works.. a lot of things are off one and you would not find any plug and play parts from vendor.. also pretty much other parts would require also replacement... Overhaul......

do expect over budget...last minute technical problem discovery....over estimate labor time....

Mine were fine with 10 years of 500+ hp.
