@SARC: Hello old Mate, That IS a factory part, a very rare one at that!! It is in two halves I think to avoid the brake light, and is mannually pulled out. It clips into place on the headliner, which is what those two plastic anchor points are for at the rear of the headliner (if you understand me) I reckon you try and get it for your XJR, it'd look well cool!

 

yes Stu is right, its factory, in two halves...looks cool and cuts down the heat inside the vehicle enormously.

Sorry its taken so long to get back to the forum...been out of town and trying to access by Blackberry, service not always available.

I plan on getting a whole pile of pics posted on that "photobucket site" for you guys this weekend as soon as i get back into town so you can see exactly what the deal is regarding condition etc....

all the seats and interior door panels etc etc are in great shape, body work is fine..door handles etc all working and in good condition...stereo works...computer "brain box" works ac and heater was all working fine when i stored her.

i"ll get the pics up as soon as i can. once again thanks for your patience, we can sort out pricing/shipping etc once you have all had a chance to see the parts you need, sound fair?? I'll put the pics in the album on photobucket this weekend.

hey guys, everyone who wants parts

ive been trying to reply to the emails but ive been getting "delivery to recipient failed permanently" messages. once again ive been out of town for work so its been very difficult to get back to you all. i am in the process of getting the pics to "photobucket". then you will all be able to see colour and condition. if you can somehow get me an email address i can reply as the "reply feature" from the gmail account i have just isnt working, as above and i have no idea how to fix it? i understand you wont want to post your addresses but i get updates to "PM"? in my inbox? is it possible to send a private message and include an email address?? simply asking as i have no idea how to do that myself LOL

please be patient with me, i have managed to log your requests so i promise i won't sell the parts to anyone else unless you tell me you don't need them anymore. that much i can manage to do with pen and paper hahaha.
the wooden "ski slope" thing on the centre console is the same as the rest of the wood, a very dark brown "walnut" colour, a very dark brown and the rest of the trim/seats etc is "oatmeal" trim code

Hey, sorry to hear about the ol' crankcase milkshake. I had that happen to me once on a lincoln towncar. Intake gasket let loose. Do you still have the supercharger? Just another vulture circling around.
