I've already had the two back lights fixed behind the climate/temp LCD. A few months later one went out then the second went out. This was a spendy fix and dont want to spend the same if it only lasts a couple of months. Anyone else have this issue? Know a root cause?

They seem to all fail on these cars once.... my 2000 failed about 2 years ago.
I did the replacement myself, and the 2 bulbs from the dealer were 30USD, but I'm not expecting to have to change them again in the cars lifetime.

Did you use the genuine Jaguar parts ?

I now have one of the lights out behind my speedo, so the instrument cluster will be the next to get a new set of bulbs.

 

I had a Jag Repair Shop change them so I assume they were oem.
