1998 XJR Flickering headlights

Hi Guys, brand new member, great to be here , looks like a great site. Just bought my first XJR and have already fallen in love. However, the little lady scared me when driving at night when the headlights started flickering, completely at random, on and off, only for a second and then fine for a while but would start again whenever. Not the best experience at 80mph on the M20 !!!
Any ideas guys?

My knee jerk reaction is relay or switch. Seems to be the only things that would cause both to fail at the same time.

Could be a loose/bad ground as well.. I had this happen on my Duster before.

Hello, I am new to this forum. I just bought an 03 xkr jag about 3 months ago and my head lights are flickering and shuting on and off. I took it to the dealership today and they are telling me I need a headlamp burner. However the lights come on. I think maybe something could be loose. Has anyone experence this and what did you do. Thanks ARJ
