The owners manual list the headlight as a H-7. Not having the car with me I don't think all 4 bulbs are H-7's. the inboard only come on when in high beam which would indicate there is only one element. The out board has two elements for low and high beam. Or do I have two inboard bulbs that are bad.


Also what is the best bulb to use? I was planning on the GE Nighthawk Platinum or the PIAA.

 

The parts catalog shows sam part number for inboard and outboard. The bulbs are just aimed differently. The low beam stays on when the high beam is lit.

 

Correct, 4x H7 is what you need.

Sorry can't help you on that one. i haven't changed the bulbs yet in either of my Jags.
