Question 1999 SVDP/XJR no fuel'no DTC Definition found'

Good Evening, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Long Version: My '99 SVDP lost a Supercharger belt tensioner pulley in the supermarket parking lot....the best way to save face and reduce smoke was to snip the belt and drive home as though nothing was amiss (I must say the car was quite tractable in non-blower mode) but didn't like anything above quarter throttle
So upon the first opportunity fed her a new tensioner & idler pulley....now she's a no-start, but will start and run on 'Remote Fuel' (squirt bottle introduced at full-load breather port)
Check Engine light came on, Cheapo scanner says 'P1229 = No DTC Definition Found'

Where to look next, brothers?

Since it will start with aux and not with on board fuel you might start with a pressure check at the fuel rail.

P1229 is throttle motor failure. Check the connectors on the rear of the throttle body.
