I own the car above and it urgently needs a new differential. I was told that the 3.2 had a 3.27:1 ratio and the 4.0 ltr had a 3.06:1 ratio.

I saw one advertised that said it was for an XJ8 4.0 ltr, and asked if it had a 3.06:1 ratio and I was told that it didn't

I am very confused now as to what ratio was fitted to the 4.0 litre V8.

Can someone point me to the correct ratio.
