I'm leaking coolant at the back of the engine by the passenger compartment. can't really see back there. What could it be?

 

probably the heater hose connection to the back of the engine block...there is an 'octopus' of hoses behind there with about 5 different points of connection, the plastic fitting (Norma connector) often leaks with age and plastic fatigue. You can buy a whole new hose, or cut off the norma connector, and just clamp that puppy to the metal outlet pipe it was originally snapped onto.

 

How do you get to the heater hoses? Do you have to take everything apart? I don't see the way to get to them.
